Short doublet fitted to the body, cut in waist. It has puffed sleeves making the silhouette look fashionable. Very popular in burgundian fashion, worn underneath robes with creased sleeves. Made of 2 layers of fabric (linen or wool). It has a V-type collar. Fastened in front with a string, often only in 2-3 spots. Later models were worn almost open to show the shirt underneath. The doublet can have hook&eye fastening. The sleeves were tied up to the elbow.
